Your study plan will follow one of the curricula specified above and can be submitted for approval from November till September of the subsequent year.

In the last semester of the program, students are required to take an internship at a private firm, a public institution, or a research lab. The related work will be reported in the Master Thesis, to be written under the supervision of a professor.

The thesis must be uploaded to Uniweb 8 days before the graduation date.
The final exam consists of the presentation of the Master Thesis to the Committee of the Final Exam (“Committee” in what follows). The thesis (15 CFU) can be based on the internship (18 CFU) that may take place in a company or other private/public institutions, including the University of Padova, offering to the student the possibility to work on a subject related to Data Science.
